Skywalk Nepal: Elevate, Inspire, Thrill

Skywalk Nepal is an emerging architectural attraction that offers visitors a thrilling experience high above Kathmandu. This skywalk, built at a height of 160 feet, provides breathtaking views of the Himalayas, the valley, and the cityscape. Initially conceived as a commercial venture, the project officially commenced on December 6, 2019. However, due to the global pandemic, it was temporarily halted. After overcoming challenges, Skywalk Nepal was finally completed and opened to the public on July 15, 2023. This new addition is set to redefine Nepal’s tourism experience.

Unmatched Views and Thrilling Experience

Located in the heart of Kathmandu’s Kamaladi area, Skywalk Nepal is the city’s tallest tower, standing at 256 feet. The glass-floor observation deck provides a surreal walking experience, giving visitors a chance to gaze down at the city while enjoying a 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.

The tower has been designed to accommodate up to 600 visitors at a time, offering various entertainment activities within its space. Plans are also in place to introduce bungee jumping and zipline attractions in the near future, ensuring a complete adrenaline-filled experience for adventure seekers. Additionally, a high-end restaurant is being established within the tower to enhance the overall visitor experience.

Safety and Structural Strength

Skywalk Nepal prioritizes high-level safety with advanced engineering and modern structural reinforcements.

Premium Glass Structure – A five-layer system, including three layers of 10mm tempered glass and two layers of 12.52mm DG-41 laminated glass, capable of withstanding speeds of up to 100 km/h.

Earthquake-Resistant Construction – Built with a robust brace metal system and perfectly engineered design to ensure structural security.

Expert Craftsmanship – Designed in collaboration with both national and international engineers to maintain world-class standards.

International Certification – Certified with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, guaranteeing the safety of visitors and staff.

A New Landmark for Nepalese Tourism

With a total investment of 2 billion Nepalese Rupees, this Skywalk Tower is poised to become one of Nepal’s most iconic attractions. The project not only enhances the city’s skyline but also redefines adventure tourism in Nepal, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and international travelers.
